Technical Surveyor 
  • Carry out technical survey to determine whether customer qualifies for a government grant to replace boiler and controls.  Carryout inspection of completed works with customer to obtain feedback of quality and assurance.

Technical Surveyor / Inspector 
  • Initially the client will apply for a Warmfront Survey to gain either an updated or new heating system.  To ascertain if they qualify, I carry out a RDSAP and a CP1.  
  • If the client meets the necessary criteria, I carry out a Microsoft Visio drawing for contractors to tender a price.  
  • On completion of the work I carry out a vigorous inspection to ensure that the work has been carried out to the high standards   
  • I also obtain CP1 and Minor Electrical Work Certificate from sub-contractors.
  • A monthly audit is carried out on all of their surveyors to oversee that we are all working to the same standards.  On my audits I have not received less than 95% and on several occasions have gained 100%.  I have also received recognition by The Department of Energy and Climate Change for my customer service skills when dealing with vulnerable clients.
October 2014 – December 2014 (Short Term Contract)
Heating Surveyor 
  • I was responsible for the heating survey in tenant’s property.  I had to agree to a route with the clerk of works and agree variations to the contract.  
  • It's was also part of my role to visit void property and assess. The void property had a turnaround target of 5 days so it was vital that I prioritised my time. I had to arrange for materials and engineers to be on site.  
  • I had to carry out a quality control check to make sure it was up to high standards. I was involved in a weekly meeting with council to discuss progress reports on voids and complaints  
September 2009 – May 2010
  • Carrying out installation and servicing of gas appliances.  Fault finding and rectification in first visit.  Liaising with Letting Agents to ensure CP12’s are within date and appropriate certification issued in line with current regulations.  On completion of the work I prepared accounts to ensure regular payments were received.
May 2009 – August 2009
  • Installation and servicing of gas appliances, out of hours call out to breakdowns, fault finding and rectification on first call out.  Carrying out gas safety checks on private dwellings.

  • Carrying out installation and servicing calls on Local Authority properties as well as breakdowns and fault finding.
